About Stacey Pommer

Stacey Pommer is a professional musician, MC, open mic host and live event facilitator with decades of experience performing, hosting and managing live rooms. He has hosted weekly open mic events at The Espy, regular events at The Vineyard and other live performance nights across Melbourne.
He understands what makes performers feel prepared, what keeps an audience engaged, and how to hold the shape of an event so it feels polished rather than chaotic.

Questions before we talk.

Is this Karaoke?

No. Participants perform – they do not sing along to recorded tracks. Performances can include music, comedy, spoken word, storytelling, poetry or similar creative performances.

Do performers need experience?

They do not need formal stage experience but they do need enough ability and preparation to participate as part of the entertainment. This is a showcase for real performers and creatives, supported by professional facilitation.

Can this work at conferences and retreats?

Yes. The format is designed for conferences, leadership retreats, team events, member events and corporate celebrations.

Do you provide sound equipment?

Sound and backline requirements can be arranged depending on the event, venue and performer needs.

Where are you based and what areas do you service?

Stacey is based in St Kilda and works across Greater Melbourne and Victoria. Interstate events may be arranged by request, with travel and accommodation quoted separately where required.
